this is my favorite photo out of all my breaking the rules pictures. there are many different subjects in this photo and it makes it difficult to have a focus point. at first you are drawn to the girl, but then the man in the background is seen. the black post it distracting, as well as the lights. it doesnt have much balance and simplicity. the photo is very busy are hard to understand.

Alternative Processes!
this is my acrylic lift for my first alternative process. i love this photograph a lot. its of a plaza near where i live. i took the photograph at sunset so thats what makes the sky different shades of grey. i used a film camera because i love the raw look of film photographs. i love the way this lift turned out. even though it was a lot of work and i had to make it twice, i still love it the most out of all my alternative processes.
for my second alternative process i decided to do a photogram. these are two cell phone cases with some leaves that i found outside. i like this photo because i love the way the phone cases look, the one with the sparkles on it looks like it has diamonds on it. i love the way they look with the boarder around. i just think this photograph turned out really nicely.

for my third alternative process i chose to do a multiple exposure. this is two separate photographs that i burned and dodged into one photo. the first photo is of two friends of mine posing in front of a store downtown. the second photo is of a tree with christmas lights also downtown. i wanted to mix these two photos together to make it look like they were standing beside the tree. i love the way this photo turned out and im proud that i was able to make my first multiple exposure work.
